Results list
If your search is successful, a results list will be displayed.
This page features the following information:

The results (either in compact or extended view format) displayed as a selectable title, together with part of the corresponding bibliographic data

The list is limited to 500 matching documents. Where no matching documents are found, a message to this effect will be displayed instead of the results list. You should either check the spelling of the words entered or refine your search.
The results list can only display 10 documents at a time in extended view format. Whenever more than 10 documents are found, only the first 10 will be displayed initially. You can use the jump bar to consult each further list of 10 documents; simply click the "next" button.
If you select the compact view format, up to 20 patent document titles will be displayed at a time.
In the extended view format, up to two names/symbols are displayed per result. However, a number in brackets next to the name and/or classification, for example (+3), may appear. This number indicates how many more names/symbols are registered. To view this supplementary information, click on the patent title and view the bibliographic data.
Selecting any of the patent titles
will result in the opening of another window, which will display the bibliographic data
and, where available, the description
and claims
(text format), the mosaics
, the original document
(PDF), the patent family and the INPADOC legal status.
By clicking on a non-patent literature (XP) document from the results list, a new window will display the bibliographic data and, where available, a link to an external provider who might have the complete article.
It is possible to open one or more browser windows to enable multiple document views at the same time. Simply right click on the title, for example, and then select "Open in new window".
You may also save results lists as favorites in esp@cenet®. Simply click on "Favorites" in the navigation bar and then "Add to favorites".
