Coverage of the esp@cenet® WIPO database
This database enables you to search in the patent applications published by WIPO
(WO publications) in the last 24 months. Only the bibliographic data of WO patent documents can be searched and displayed.
Note: It is not possible to perform a search in the abstract field or using a European Classification symbol.
For WO patents older than 24 months, you should select the worldwide database option.
Under normal circumstances new documents are added to the database on a weekly basis, which is currently two weeks after publication (Wednesday). They are available in the worldwide database shortly afterwards.
