Combining Search Fields

If you enter terms in more than one Input Field, you will limit your search.

The search result will be a combination of the search results obtained by only using one input field at a time.

Suppose you have read an interesting article about Rice Noodles, which mentions the work of a Mr. Toh, and you wish to find any patent publication related to his work.

By combining

Example:

Title:

in the Title field and

Example

Inventor:

in the Inventor field, you will very likely retrieve the concerning patent documents, if they are available.

You will avoid the long list of results you would have obtained by only entering

rice AND noodle

in the Title field, or only

Toh

in the Inventor field.
