What is an esp@cenet search?

An esp@cenet search is a structured method to consult of patent publications.
Somewhere in the published patent documents, there is the information you are looking for, but you have no idea where. esp@cenet provides you with the means to find that information.
You conduct a search by issuing your search criteria in one of the Search Options, which is simply a way of asking a question that will find the information you are looking for. Searching is usually an iterative process. You submit a query and if the results list does not contain the information you are looking for,
you adapt your search criteria. Sometimes, the results can hint you on new criteria aswell.
