Definition:	The Publication Date is the date on which the patent application was first published (or made available for public inspection).
Content:	The Publication Date can be entered in any of the following 4 formats:
Syntax (Day)	YYYYMMDD
Format (Day):	To find patent documents published on a particular day: The complete Publication Date is made up of the publication year (4 digits), the publication month (2 digits) and the publication day (2 digits)
Example:	Publication Date:
Syntax: (Month)	YYYYMM
Format: (Month)	To find patent documents published in a particular month: The partial Publication Date, including the month, is made up of the publication year (4 digits) and the publication month (2 digits).
Example:	Publication Date:
Syntax: (Year)	YYYY
Format: (Year)	To find patent documents published in a particular year: The partial Publication Date, for the year only, is made up of the publication year (4 digits).
Example:	Publication Date: Publication Date:
Syntax: (Other)	DD/MM/YYYY
Format: (Other)	The Publication Date can also be formatted by the publication day (2 digits) followed by a slash "/", the publication month (2 digits), followed by a slash "/" and the publication year (4 digits).

Operators:	No operators can be used for the Publication Date
