Definition:

The Applicant is the name of one or more persons or organisations (company, university etc.), which are registered as the proprietor of a patent application. The Applicant can also be the Inventor, but this is generally not the case.

Content:

The Applicant has a format for the name of an individual person and/or a format for an organisation.

Syntax/format:

The Applicant format for an individual person is made up of the Surname followed by the Forenames You can search for a single word, or more than one word. If you enter more than one word, only those documents will be retrieved in which all the words appear. You can also search for a phrase using double quotes. This will retrieve only those documents in which the exact phrase is present.
