The Priority number is one or more of the Application Numbers for which priority rights are claimed.

The Priority Number is the same as the Application Number of the claimed priority patent document.

or YYYYMMDD for the Application Date

Format: |
The Priority Number is made up of a Country Code (2 letters), the year of filing (4 digits) and a serial number (variable, 7 digits)
A serial number having less than 7 digits must be completed to 7 digits by adding leading zero"s.
Alternatively, the leading zero's can be omitted entirely in the serial number.
To retrieve all the documents having a particular country code in combination with other entries (dates, etc.), it is sufficient to enter the Country Code (2 letters).
